The Blue Ridge Amateur Radio Society will be participating in the annual Winter Field Day 2025 this year!

Winter Field Day is an event to get together to enhance amateur radio emergency preparedness by practicing setting up and operating portable radio stations in winter conditions (and have a lot of fun doing it).

We invite all radio amateurs, their families and friends, licensed or not, to come participate!

Notes:

  1. No cover charge! No parking fee!
  2. This is an outdoor event with no shelter, but A/C power is available on a limited basis.
  3. We will have one or two Club HF radios set up for general usage, and plenty of experienced people to help.
  4. We will have signs posted along Mush Creek Road to assist in locating the site. The road inlet is paved and automobile accessible.
