Straight Key Night
Every day is a good day to send CW, but January 1 is reserved for Straight Key Night. Enjoy CW as it has been sent and enjoyed since the earliest days of Amateur Radio.
Objective: This 24-hour event is not a contest; rather it is a day dedicated to celebrating our CW heritage. Participants are encouraged to get on the air and simply make enjoyable, conversational CW QSOs. The use of straight keys or bugs to send CW is preferred. There are no points scored and all who participate are winners.

We Have a Net every night at 9pm on the 146.610 repeater (no tone).
This is the longest running net in the area, and if I’m not mistaking it
has the most check ins. So come on over to 146.610 and keep a good
thing going. Look forward to hearing you.

We Had a Great time last night at the Christmas Party meeting, lots of food to eat,
and we stayed out late (10pm).
I think about half the members show up and we even got 4 new members.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, stay safe over the Holiday, we want
to see you at the next meeting on January 4th.
